Rasenick and Graduate Students and Post-Doctoral Students from Portland, Oregon Chapter and New Orleans Chapter.<br>Mentors: Distinguished senior neuroscientists (T.B.D).<br> SfN is proud to host a mentoring social that focuses on public advocacy. Dr. M. Rasenick, University of Illinois College of Medicine, addresses the importance of neuroscientists communicating with policymakers about advances in neuroscience and the impact on public policy and its benefits to society. Then, two students from SfN chapters will discuss their first-hand experience of traveling to Washington, DC, to meet with their Senators. Following the presentations will be breakout groups.
