Jill Sakai is a science writer and editor based in Madison, Wisconsin. She has written about topics ranging from anthropology to zoology for audiences including scientists, policymakers, kids, and the general public. She has a B.S. in biological sciences from the University of Rochester and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She is also a member of the National Association of Science Writers, where she volunteers on several committees and is a three-time elected board member.
