About the Author
Oliver Sacks is a neurologist and author. In addition to his work on music, Tourette’s syndrome, and Parkinson’s disease, he has written such best-selling case histories as The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, An Anthropologist on Mars, and his memoir of his early work, Awakenings.
