Robert Knight, MD, is a professor of psychology and neuroscience at the University of California, Berkeley. His lab studies people with frontal lobe damage. By recording electrical signals from this region, his team aims to understand its role in goal-directed behavior. He’s served on the BrainFacts.org Editorial Board since January 2021.
