For restaurateur and Top Chef contestant Bryan Voltaggio, cooking is an art that requires all of our senses. At his lecture at the Society for Neuroscience’s 2014 meeting, Voltaggio showed off the ways that taste, smell, texture, and presentation can profoundly alter our experience of eating, and change the way we think about food.
