The U.S. Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) Initiative is an ambitious project to develop new tools and technologies to study the brain and its transformative potential is now coming into view. These tools and methods are helping researchers deepen their basic understanding of the highly complex and intricate brain, and forming a foundation for future progress on a wide range of neurological and psychiatric diseases and disorders that affect a billion people worldwide.

This webinar focuses on one such tool, and guests discuss how, with further study, it could one day be used to advance research on developmental disorders such as autism. Learn more about this innovative project, how basic science propels treatment directions in unexpected ways, and how new knowledge could impact future patient treatments.
